Improv Collective Photo Album: The Drag Show 2015

The OC Improv Collective puts on an annual drag show where people gender swap for a night and put on an improv show. It’s a fun show whose gimmick does not take over the show. Scenes are still grounded, relationships built, and a good show is put on. And on Friday, August 21st, we did just that.

Here are some pics. All pictures taken by Kaydee Ambas.

Sam’s family chipped in to making him the bell of the ball.

Jeff got dolled up for the event.

Pierce was as bashful as ever.

This dress could barely contain Antoine.

Rollers in beard, cigarrate in mouth, hairnet, minimal make-up, and countenance of a jadedness verging on apathy: Leo pulls it off.

Whereas the rest of us went for outrageous looks, Liam reigned it in and went as a school teacher.

Miranda was the only female to participate from the bunch. She went all out. She had a thick beard and realistic wig, and she wore a flesh colored long sleeve shirt to give the illusion of tatoos. And she helped out with my make-up – Bravo, Miranda.

Rob: the juxtapositon of the macho male with the tender and refined female, and he pulls both off.

I ended up looking like the matchmaker from Mulan.

I wish we got a group shot together. This is the best one I have. Oh, well, till next year.
